- The introduction of female performers on the stage was made achievable in a significant extent by Michael Madhusudan Dutta. His sole demand was that women in Bengal theater perform their parts on their own, rather than through male actors. The path of female Bengali theater performers therefore begun. No regular woman could dare to take the stage, even though it was true that only the courtesans could.
- However, those incredibly gifted women have long lit up the Bengali stage. Both their musical talents and dancing abilities were equally bestowed by God. Girishchandra Ghosh, Amarendranath Dutta, Amritalal Bose, Apareshchandra, and numerous more notable directors and screenwriters used their skills. The few wellknown ones amongst them are Kusumkumari, Nati Binodini, and Some others have emerged from the back-and-forth conversations. Despite their fame and contributions, the remainder of them have vanished.
- Through the drama SreeNoti—Captain Mona (Monorama), Prokashmoni, Golapsundori (Sukumari Dutta), and Kusumkumari—Oihik is honoring the lives of a select few. It is an effort to commemorate the lives they lived, remember their sacrifice, and keep the pain they experienced alive.
