Written by Piyush Ashm, this unique presentation from Kolkata Centre for Creativity blends the art of storytelling (Daastan) with soulful music, exploring the spiritual path from Dilkashi (attraction) to Faana (annihilation in love).
The Murshidabadi Project, renowned for its Sufi music, has garnered international recognition. From curating rare Bengali qawwali for Coke Studio Bangla to composing Kabir Dohas for Netflix’s Sher Dil, the band has achieved remarkable milestones.
Founded by Soumya Murshidabadi, a skilled Sufi musician trained in Indian classical music, the project aims to reconnect audiences with the mystical “sound of the soil,” delivering a deep spiritual connection through its unique musical and storytelling offerings.
