- Anirban Gupta, a veteran sports personality, is haunted by a dream. The dream recurrently reaches us throughout the play as a soundscape. It consists sound of splashing water under rapid movement of oar, running footsteps in a distance with a cry of a teen calling his friend to wait subsequently drowned by loud machinegun firing and then only splashing of water under oar. His wife Purnima is worried. Throughout their married life she stood strongly by the side of her husband on every occasion; during his resignation from SAI on protest against corruption some fifteen year back or recent fight against land mafias to retain the playground of children and youth. Still, she fails to understand the reason behind the nightmare of her otherwise strong honest and uncompromising husband.
- After such a nightmare, unable to sleep, Anirban goes to nearby ghat on Ganga and found Minu wrestling on river mud with teen friends of adjacent slum. On seeing her spontaneously executing Dhobiya Pat technique invented by Gobor Goha, Anirban at once realized hidden talent of a wrestler and rushed to Minus home.
Minakshi Pal alias Minu is a fatherless poor slum girl. Her mother tries her best to raise her Childs by working as cook to neighboring middle class families. Her son Partha is very studious. He cracked state school service commission exam but remained jobless due to corruption in teacher recruitment process and fighting against corrupt system along with other victims. Whereas, Minu is just opposite. For her life is all play no studies.
Being the wrestling coach of renowned north Calcutta wrestling institute Anirban took Minu to the institute but authority refused to allow a poor slum girl. Undaunted Anirban brings Minu to his home and with full support of his wife Purnima started coaching Minu. On realizing the hard reality of life, Minus journey of fighting in and out of wrestling ring begin.

However, when she stood against corrupt practice of powerful sports authority person, her sport career come to a halt. Purnima asks Anirban to stood strong in the fight as Minu consider him her idol and following his path only. Anirban broke down and finally confess his unworthiness. Fifty years back he selfishly escaped by boat leaving his friend in front of Pak Army’s Machinegun and that cowardice incidence is tormenting him till now as recurring nightmare. Purnima explains that if a mistake done by a merely fifteen-year-old boy keep that boy honest and fearless throughout his entire life then there is nothing to be ashamed of. Anirban is the worthiest person to stand erect beside Minu’s holy war against corrupt practice.
- Anirban realized and stood erect. With full psychological support from her idol, Minu won the war.
