• NagarBaul is a play that centres round many facets of urban lives — the hopes, aspirations and nuances of our relation with one another in an age that is marred by technological boom, mechanical existence and obsession with the self. Amidst these claustrophobic conditions, NagarBaul attempts to find a free soul — free not in the sense of being an ideal solution to all the problems, but a soul that remains within the metropolitan obligations, acknowledges the ways of the modern, fragmented lives and thus, grows beyond the inevitable scars to look forward. The project intends to play with the idea of ‘transcendence through acceptance’, referring constantly to the figure of the ‘flaneur’ — the fleeting onlooker.

ভিটামিন-M

• The play ভিটামিন-M is adapted from the story চিকিৎসা সঙ্কট by Rajsekhar Basu(pen name- পরশুরাম).
• The play revolves around the physical sufferings of a common man called Nonda. He wanders around in search of a doctor who would treat him but gives up all the hope just when, Ms. B Mullick,a gynaecologist who helps him with the right cure. What’s a cure that a gynaecologist could offer a man?? Will Nondo finally find the right treatment? Or will the story turn out in a different direction?
