• A multinational company named “Euthanasia Corporation Limited” (ECL) has manufactured and planned to launch an extremely new device or machine in India namely “SARCO”. This is actually a Suicidal Device for those people who are no longer valued & important in the family as well as in the Society as a whole. The name SARCO has been derived from the term Sarcophagus. This Sarcophagus are usually found in the ancient Pyramids and Temples in Egypt which are made of stones. In this stone Casket the dead bodies of the ancient Egypt were preserved. As the date of launching is coming closer, the authority become more and more anxious for lack of willing persons who want to die in peace. The machine is like a capsule and fully computer operated. A person may die in the capsule simply by inhaling liquid Nitrogen gas. This Gas is proven to be non-suffocative and thus the person entering the device just loss his consciousness and die peacefully. Doctor Basu, Chief Executive of ECL, now finds new way. He allotted more money for research and find out many people who are mentally sick and often plan to commit suicide. Basu provokes them and even offered good cash to them as the cost of their death. His assistant, Mr. Rohit Mukherjee, protested but failed to stop Dr. Basu and his plan. One day they caught Mr. Gunadhar Nayek who lives in a rural area of Bengal and we come to know that he is a very good contemporary artist. Gunadhar had led a poor life all along his journey. Gunadhar loves a Behari teenager lady ‘Tarangi’ though he is married and they have a grown-up girl. Malati, his wife is disgusted with this extra-marital affair. Gunadhar appears to be very frustrated as he could not earn enough goodwill as an Artist and none had purchased a single piece of Drawing created by him. He is very much influenced by the life Vincent Van Gogh. Gunadhar always dreams and imagines. He always lives in a delusion. He was trapped by Dr. Basu and ultimately agreed to sign the agreement with the company against an offer of huge amount of money. Malati could not know anything. Gunadhar planned and organised a big Exhibition of his art work in a famous Gallery in Kolkata. Finally, on the day of the launch of SARCO, Gunadhar attended the venue but suddenly changed his mind and refused to die. He wants to see his success. But Dr. Basu was prepared for that and his friend Dr. Mehta pushed a combination of injection in the arm of Gunadhar. As an addicted, Gunadhar entered the capsule and dies within 3 minutes. Later, Mr. Rohit Mukherjee discovered that Dr. Mehta used lethal drugs in Gunadhar’s body which are basically used to kill criminals who are given Death Sentences. At that juncture Malati comes and gladly informs everyone that some of Gunadhar’s paintings have been sold at a high price. And most valuable out of those paintings is ‘Tarangi’.
