‘Chayapother Seshey’, a hilarious horror comedy by Sohan Bandopadhyay comes as a voice of protest from the world of theatre. Set on the premises of a dilapidated theatre hall of north Kolkata which is on the verge of demolition and conversion into a big market complex, a fight for a lost cause is initiated by a bunch of ‘humanly’ ghosts and a ghostly man against the deadly system of corruption headed by a colourful politician with all possible vices.

In an era of dissociation and individualistic existence, this play speaks about the core values of human existence and raises hope for the future to live in a better world.
